Mark’s journey to The Amara Kitchen and Tasting Room at Roots to River Farm represents an intersection of professional expertise and a deep-rooted love of food. He spent two decades managing complex projects in the pharmaceutical industry—a background that honed his sharp eye for efficiency, organization, and operational leadership. However, the foundation of his work ethic was built much earlier: Mark worked in all facets of the food service industry to pay for his education.
Beyond his professional life, Mark is a dedicated dad and husband. One of his greatest joys is sharing his passion for gardening and cooking with his family, especially teaching those skills to his two daughters.
