Introducing Amara.

A Radicchio Aperitivo made from the farm.

It all started when…

Farmer Malaika handed her husband, Chef Ian Knauer a crate of unsold radicchio from the farmer’s market and asked if he could make something so that the heads wouldn’t go to waste. Recalling one of his favorite drinks from a trip to Barcelona, he created a spanish-style vermouth. Using farm ingredients to re-create the aperitivo from his memory, he ended up making the best thing that either of them had ever had before.

Over the years we have perfected and refined the recipe. Amara (meaning bitter in Italian) uses wine made at the farm, infused with a unique blend of herbs and spices picked fresh from the fields for an oaky aroma, combined with caramel and steeped with radicchio for a bittersweet and botanical flavor.

This drink is a true taste of local flavor packaged into a balanced, sippable aperitivo. To be enjoyed before dinner (or any other time), on ice.

15% alcohol.
