Charitable Giving & Donation Policy

At Roots to River Farm, we are committed to supporting our local community, including the schools, churches, and non-profit organizations that make our region vibrant. Because we receive a high volume of requests, we have established the following guidelines to ensure our giving is sustainable and organized.

Donation Tiers

We offer two tiers of support for auctions, raffles, and community fundraisers:

• Tier 1: Signature Product Basket A curated selection of our farm-made goods and artisanal products.

• Tier 2: Experiential Dining or Education Two (2) tickets to a scheduled cooking class or farm dinner.

We limit the number of Tier 1: Signature Product Basket to 2 organizations per month and Tier 2: Experiential Dining or Education to 1 organization per month. Additionally, to help us support as many causes as possible, we utilize a "Cost-Cover" model:

• Standard Donation: If an organization is unable to cover costs, we grant one of the items above on a first-come, first-served basis within our monthly caps.

• Extended Support: If a requesting organization is able to pay for the item "at cost," we are often able to bypass our monthly caps and fulfill the request even if our monthly donation slots are already filled.

How to Apply

To request a donation, please fill out the form below. We respond to requests on a rolling basis. Requests should be submitted at least 30 days prior to your event. While we would love to support every cause, meeting the criteria does not guarantee a donation due to the high volume of inquiries.
