The Winter Rations Share sign up is open for the 2023 Season!

We are so happy to once again offer the opportunity for our members to be able to eat from the farm in the winter. Eating soups, stews and winter greens is a perfect way to get through the darkest months of the year. We work all fall to fill the root cellar with sweetest and heartiest of vegetables, and the pantry with delicious preserves for members to enjoy after the frost comes.

This year, the share will be November and December. Our farmers and our soil need a little break, so we are shutting down for January and February to get ready for the coming year of growing. Pickups will be every other week at Manoff Market Gardens on Comfort Rd, New Hope PA.

The share will include lots of veggies from the farm and prepared goodness from Chefs Ian and Karl.

Here’s what the share includes each week:

  • Free choice of 5 to 6 items per week of of stored veggies straight from the root cellar (beets, rutabaga, carrots, radishes, cabbage, radicchio, potatoes, garlic, and butternut squash), greens from the field and our unheated greenhouses. We will send you a harvest list for you to choose your items each week.

  • 1 jar of preserves such as tomato sauce, ketchup, tomato puree, hot sauce, bloody mary mix, bbq sauce, or various pickles

  • Choice of one vegetarian soup per week*

  • Fresh baked sourdough loaf **

*we can accommodate vegan preferences, just let us know ahead of time

**if you prefer not to receive a baked good you can choose 2 soups or 2 jars for your share


All shares are biweekly from November 2nd through December 24st.
